Miss Cora A. Neitzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neitzel, was united in marriage to Mr., H. C. Beckfield of Newell, Iowa on Wed. Sept.26, 1928 at 2 P. M. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride’s parents near here by Rev. H. F. Leschensky, with only relatives and a few neighbors present.
The couple was attended by the bride’s sister, Effie Neitzel from Milwaukee and Julius Ehlert, Loyal.
The bride was attired in a gown of dark brown transparent velvet trimmed with tan lace and wore a tan velvet hat and a corsage bouquet of pink roses.
After a wedding dinner the bridal couple left immediately by auto for a short honeymoon at the Wisconsin Dells and then to their home at Newell, Iowa by the way of Dubuque, Iowa.
The couple were recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts.
The bride graduated from business college at Mankato, Minn. Four years ago, and since then has held business positions at St. Paul and Cottonwood Minn, at the Spencer State Bank, and for the past year and one half at the Citizens State Bank here. She is a talented young lady with a charming personality and goes to Iowa leaving a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
